Those who love the arts, science and the outdoors absolutely must visit Houston, Texas. The city is well known for its space center – the Johnson Space Center – and it is open to visitors. The Houston Museum of Natural Science is excellent for those science enthusiast, and outdoors’ enthusiasts would enjoy a stroll (or a run) at the Buffalo Bayou (the ten-mile stretch between Sheperd Drive and the Port of Houston Turning Basin). Newly renewed and full of beautiful pathways, Buffalo Bayou is completely free to visit and use.

Sports enthusiasts will love a visit to Minute Maid Park, whether it’s to attend an actual game with the Houston Astros or to appreciate the view and. It’s indoors, making for an excellent place to get a reprieve from the oppressive Texan heat during the summer.

Houston’s Airport

Of course, one aspect of Houston that is not so endearing is its airport (IAH). Listed last year among the top ten worst airports in the US, a visit going through this airport takes a truly motivated person. Construction work seems to be never-ending, with two terminals under construction at the time of writing. Have you ever considered aircraft rental for Houston travel instead?

Even if the construction was easy to ignore, just the waiting times alone would be enough to avoid the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Checkpoints for immigration and the lengthy security lines are reason enough to decide to drive to Houston by car instead. While the construction and congestion might be resolved by the time 2020 rolls around, for now, the Houston Airport remains on most savvy travelers’ “do not use” list. For these reasons and more, a jet charter in Houston might be a more convenient and not so much more expensive way to go.

Flying Private

Luckily, you don’t always have to go through the typical airport routine through IAH when flying to or from Houston. Hiring a private jet is an excellent way to keep your trip worry and stress-free. When you fly with a private jet charter in Houston, you can experience all there is to enjoy when you don’t have to deal with lines, crowded airplanes, and poor service.

If you do it right, a Houston jet charter might not cost much more than flying economy. Last-minute shoppers can even get good Houston jet charter rental deals. Most of the time up to half of the seats on Houston private jet rentals are open anyway, making it easy for the airlines to be able to offer lower prices.

Also, the more charter flights (Houston or elsewhere) you book, the cheaper it could be per flight – assuming it is with the same airline, of course. The best way to get cheap tickets for an air charter in Houston is to be flexible with your timing, and you will be able to find the best possible value.

Another significant benefit to a Houston private jet rentals is that you can fly right alongside a group of your friends. The key to keeping the cost down is to have just a small group, such as six or fewer friends or family members along with you. That will allow for the smallest possible airplane rental in Houston, allowing for lower operating costs (and therefore cheaper tickets).

Believe it or not, renting a private jet for Houston travel actually comes with much lower operating costs. That, combined with the fact that you will probably be flying in seats that would be empty otherwise makes for a convenient, affordable, airplane rental to Houston.
